Notes:
Tape has many cuts (not noted here.) Man on the Corner, Carpet Crawlers, Turn It On Again, and Dance on a Volcano are completely missing.
There was a fragment of the speech before Misunderstanding present at the beginning of the tape which I moved to its correct position.
Tape speed is variable throughout. Two songs (No Reply at All and Firth of Fifth) were run through iZotope RX's wow and flutter tool to even out speed fluctuations.
This recording also has the only genuine copy of Dodo from this show (on recorder 1 it is patched in from Hamburg two nights later.)
Thanks to Dietmar for acquiring this cassette in the 1980s and for letting it out all these years later!

I traded for this show a long time ago. Since this show clocks in under 1 hour there may have been 2 shows that night or the recording is incomplete.
Big thanks go to the original taper, I think his name was Tom, great job !!
The recording is not the greatest but more than enough to give a taste of what this band was capable of performing live.
During the second track you'll hear the tapers friend mention hiss so we know they heard some through the house sound system.
I transfered this show a few years ago and have listened to it on and off, always enjoying the performance and the vibe from the taper and his friend.
The atmophere seems to be full of beer, hash and high energy music and I simply love the way it's been captured here.
This is was what the 70's was all about, as far as I'm concerned.

This one was circulating already when I used to trade on cassettes back in the days but this is the first time it circulates from a direct copy of my master. I remember this being a very nice show and Phil in top notch form. Possibly his peak in terms of live performance although I also liked very much his 1985 tour as well.

Setlist was truly excellent with the best material from Phil's five albums. Both Sides material was excellent too, reflcting the home recording mood.
